Math Tutoring Contract
This agreement is made between Buzz Math Stars Tutoring LLC, referred to herein as the “Tutor” and “Client Name”, referred to herein as the “Client” effective as of (Effective Date).
Services Provided:
The Tutor agrees to provide math tutoring services to the Client in Math. Each session will last one hour or thirty minutes and will be conducted online via Zoom platform or in person.
Fees and Payment:
- The Client agrees to pay the Tutor a rate of $75/hour per session or $40/hour per thirty-minute session for remote tutoring sessions.
- The Client agrees to pay the Tutor a rate of $85/hour per session or $50/hour per thirty-minute session for in person tutoring.
- Payment must be made prior to the scheduled start time of the tutoring session.
Schedule:
The Tutor and Client will mutually agree upon a schedule for tutoring sessions. Any changes or cancellations must be communicated and agreed upon in advance.
Responsibilities:
- The Tutor agrees to prepare materials and lesson plans for each session.
- The Client agrees to attend sessions punctually and complete any assigned homework or practice problems.
- Both parties agree to communicate openly and honestly regarding the Client’s progress and any concerns that may arise during the tutoring relationship.
Cancellation Policy:
The Client agrees to provide at least a 24-hour notice for any cancellation or rescheduling of sessions. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a forfeit of the session fee.
Confidentiality:
Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of all information shared during tutoring sessions, including but not limited to personal information and academic records.
Termination:
Either may terminate this Agreement with a 24-hour notice. In the event of termination, any prepaid fees for unused sessions will be refunded to the Client.
Governing Law:
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Florida.
